From 5 March 2026, a Ukrainian citizen starting a new JDG needs valid UKR temporary protection or another qualifying residence basis. An ordinary PESEL and just any lawful stay are insufficient. A business started before that date may continue while residence remains lawful. The old question about 30 September 2025 does not determine current eligibility: check your status on the registration date.
