Company registration (e.g. Sp. z o.o., which is similar to LLC in other countries) in Poland can be simple or complex, depending on the chosen registration method. There are two main options:
1. **Online through the S24 system**: This is the fastest and cheapest option. You need to create an account, fill out a template of the company's statute and submit documents. The process usually takes 1-3 working days. The minimum statutory capital is 5,000 zlotys.
2. **Through a notary**: This option is more expensive and takes longer (usually 1-2 weeks). It allows for the creation of an individual statute, which may be useful for more complex structures.
You will also need to prepare a number of documents, such as the company's name and address, PKD codes (main business activities), the composition of the board of directors and others. After registration, you will need to obtain a NIP number (tax identification number) and, if you plan to work with clients from the EU, submit a VAT-UE application.
