Does a JDG need share capital?

A JDG has no statutory share-capital requirement and CEIDG registration is free. Startup costs, taxes and contributions may still arise. The PLN 5,000 minimum concerns a sp. z o.o., not a JDG. A foreigner’s registration eligibility is checked separately from funds and possession of PESEL.
