PESEL identifies the person; UKR is the temporary-protection status recorded with it. They are not two different number systems. The number alone does not prove continuing protection. For people registered without a passport, the identity-confirmation deadline was 31 August 2026; failure to comply causes loss of UKR status. Check the current record rather than relying only on an old number-assignment notice.
